A Ukraine timesheet should show who worked, the date, the work schedule, actual hours, and the time category for each entry. State Statistics Committee Order No. 489 approves Form P-5 for recording use of working time, including regular hours, part-time hours, night hours, overtime, and weekend or holiday work. That structure gives payroll a cleaner basis for wage review.
Use the timesheet to separate ordinary work from exceptions. Ukraine's Labour Code sets normal working time at no more than 40 hours per week, with lower standards possible by collective agreement. Remote work still needs a clear total: remote employees may split working time unless the contract says otherwise, but total hours must stay within the Labour Code's normal or reduced working-time standards.
A Ukrainian timesheet should make overtime visible by employee, not only by team or project. The Labour Code requires the employer or authorized body to keep records of each employee's overtime work. Overtime may not exceed four hours for each employee over two consecutive days or 120 hours per year, so a weekly view alone can miss a rolling two-day limit.
Night work also needs its own category. The Labour Code defines night time as 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and night work is generally paid at an increased rate of at least 20% of base salary for each night hour. For payroll review, keep night hours separate from overtime and weekend or holiday work, even when one shift includes more than one category.
A practical Ukraine timesheet uses Ukrainian labels where employees and payroll expect them and records money values in hryvnia. Ukraine's Constitution makes Ukrainian the state language and the hryvnia the currency unit, so UAH totals fit domestic payroll and billing workflows. A line such as "Design review, 3 hours, UAH billable rate" keeps the work category and currency clear.
Employee time data also needs disciplined handling. Law No. 2297-VI covers information about an identified or identifiable individual, so time entries can be personal data. Process timesheet data for a specific and legitimate purpose, keep it adequate and non-excessive, and avoid using activity details that payroll or project review does not need.
A one-off timesheet is enough when you need a single weekly record, a payroll check, or a client backup file for a small job. It works best when the employee count is low, overtime is rare, and one person can review entries before payroll or invoicing. Save the approved record with the period, employee name, and final totals.
A managed workflow fits teams that track several projects, remote employees, overtime, night work, and client billing at the same time. Everhour Time Tracking lets people use timers or manual entries against tasks and projects, then sends that time into timesheets, reports, budgets, invoices, and payroll review. Admins can approve time, lock periods, set reminders, and control timer behavior.

Yes. Ukraine's Labour Code requires the employer or authorized body to keep records of each employee's overtime work. A timesheet should therefore identify overtime by employee and date, not only as a monthly total. Overtime has daily and annual limits and a separate pay treatment.
Separate regular hours, part-time hours, night hours, overtime, and weekend or holiday work. State Statistics Committee Order No. 489 approves Form P-5 for recording use of working time and includes those categories. Keeping them separate reduces payroll cleanup when one employee has several time types in the same pay period.
A Ukraine timesheet should mark hours worked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. as night work. The Labour Code generally requires night work to be paid at an increased rate of at least 20% of base salary for each night hour, so payroll needs those hours visible before calculating pay.
The two-day limit is easy to miss. Overtime may not exceed four hours for each employee over two consecutive days or 120 hours per year. A monthly summary can show the yearly total, but it will not reveal whether a short burst of extra work crossed the two-day limit.
Remote employees may split working time at their own discretion unless the contract says otherwise. Total working hours still may not exceed the normal or reduced working-time standards in Articles 50 and 51 of the Labour Code. A timesheet should capture actual totals even when the employee controls the daily schedule.
Everhour Time Tracking records task and project hours through live timers or manual entries, then feeds timesheets, reporting, budgeting, invoicing, and payroll review. Admin controls let managers approve submitted time, lock completed periods, send reminders, and set timer rules before records move into payroll or billing.
Everhour Reporting turns logged time, budgets, costs, and project data into configurable reports. Teams can add columns, group data, filter projects and metadata, set date ranges, and export reports as CSV, Excel/XLSX, or PDF for payroll review, client backup, or internal archive work.
Track task and project hours as work happens, approve timesheets before payroll, and keep locked records ready for billing review. Everhour gives Ukrainian teams a cleaner path from time entry to payroll support.
