We\u2019re excited to announce the release of our new Everhour desktop app for macOS<\/strong>! \ud83c\udf89<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app is currently available for Mac users only<\/strong> and is designed to bring you a faster, smoother way to track time\u2014right from your toolbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re already using our browser extension, you\u2019ll feel right at home. The desktop app mirrors the extension\u2019s look and feel, so there\u2019s nothing new to learn<\/strong> or adjust to. Just install it and keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why the desktop app is a game changer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The biggest benefit? Your timer is always in sight<\/strong>\u2014whether your browser is open or not. It sits quietly in your macOS toolbar, making it easy to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • See when your timer is running<\/li>
  • Notice if you forgot to start it<\/li>
  • Start tracking time with just one click<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    In other words, time tracking is now more accessible and reliable than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A couple of things to know<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The installer includes both the desktop app and our Safari browser extension<\/strong>\u2014so you\u2019re fully set up after one installation. This is what you’ll see after installation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you use Chrome<\/strong> or another browser, you\u2019ll still need to install our browser extension separately to enable embedding our controls in tools like Asana, ClickUp, Linear, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
