The calendar may seem like a secondary feature: it neither boasts integrations with project management tools nor helps to handle tasks. However, this guy can come in very handy when needed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let\u2019s see if you can relate to any of the following situations within your team\/company:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>managing your team\u2019s vacations, days off, sick days<\/li>\n<li>planning vacations in advance to avoid overlaps with others<\/li>\n<li>coming up with a way for people to check on their schedule any time<\/li>\n<li>informing employees about their teammates\u2019 absence from work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sounds familiar? With our calendar, you can solve all these issues and easily keep track of such events as day shifts, team building activities, birthdays, clients being out of the office, public holidays, etc.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">So how does the calendar work?<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Once you access the calendar, you\u2019ll get a monthly view of all team events. Simply navigate between past and future events or create one yourself by clicking a specific day space. To find more about an event, click it and see the details.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In case the number of events is overwhelming, use the panel on the left to filter out certain event types or members.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Important<\/strong>: editing is available only for organization admins, members can just look through the calendar.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-calendar-month-view.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2157\" title=\"introducing team calendar\" src=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-calendar-month-view.png\" alt=\"introducing team calendar\" width=\"1280\" height=\"701\" srcset=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-calendar-month-view.png 1280w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-calendar-month-view-300x164.png 300w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-calendar-month-view-1024x560.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Calendar report<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There are multiple arrangements and aggregations available here:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Arrange by option defines the way in which calendar data is displayed at the highest level: <em>Member, Calendar, Day, Week, Month<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With Aggregate by, you choose a second-level criterion for further breaking down information: <em>Calendar, Day, Comment, None<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sort by specifying whether entries are listed alphabetically according to the selected aggregation or based on the amount of time in descending order.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With this report kind, you can check, for example, the total amount of time spent on team building for the past year:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-calendar-none.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2158\" title=\"introducing team calendar\" src=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-calendar-none.png\" alt=\"introducing team calendar\" width=\"1280\" height=\"701\" srcset=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-calendar-none.png 1280w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-calendar-none-300x164.png 300w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-calendar-none-1024x560.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Or you can see events associated with a particular team member:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-member-calendar.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2159\" title=\"introducing team calendar\" src=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-member-calendar.png\" alt=\"introducing team calendar\" width=\"1279\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-member-calendar.png 1279w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-member-calendar-300x164.png 300w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/everhour-report-member-calendar-1024x560.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1279px) 100vw, 1279px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps, not all of you will feel the need to use these options or you may simply go with Google Calendar instead. But none of the similar calendar solutions will provide you with such powerful reporting features and flexibility.
