We\u2019ve finally released a <strong>big and long-awaited Everhour update<\/strong>. We\u2019ve been working on it for a couple of months sharing some of the plans and thoughts with you on the go, and now we are ready and excited to present you the brand-new version that will make your time management process a billion times better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: since the added changes are quite huge, we might have missed something trying to make all the cool features live as soon as possible, so don\u2019t be too harsh on us guys \ud83d\ude42 In case you notice any issues, please let us know via <strong>the feedback &amp; support form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now let\u2019s get started with listing all the goodies you\u2019re getting with this update.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>New, better reports<\/h2>\n<p>Both personal and organizational reports have survived quite a shakeup \ud83d\ude42 The previous reporting functionality wasn\u2019t as smooth and quick as we wanted. Besides, <strong>bigger teams<\/strong> might have noticed that data representation for <strong>large time intervals<\/strong> with tons of entries was hard to perceive and analyze.<\/p>\n<p>The basic concept is still the same with all reports divided into several types:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Report by Date<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Report by Member<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Report by Project<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Report by Task (prev. by Issue)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Calendar Report (prev. Taken Time Off)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>What\u2019s new is more opportunities for data aggregation to let you see time stats the way you want. The new reports, on the contrary, provide lots and lots of possible grouping combinations for your convenience.<\/p>\n<h2>New filters panel<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve updated the filters section as well for it to be in line with the enhanced reporting.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif; font-size: medium;\">What\u2019s new here?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Thanks to <strong>sticky navigation<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be able to always see the filters section on top of your screen while scrolling down.<\/li>\n<li>For the sake of avoiding a way-too-long section, we\u2019re adding a <strong>scroll <\/strong>that won\u2019t let the block go past a certain size.<\/li>\n<li>Select all items in one click and easily exclude a couple of titles from the list if needed.<\/li>\n<li>The section features a <strong>search <\/strong>field to let you quickly find a necessary member or project name.<\/li>\n<li>The number of selected members\/projects and their total number is now available and in case a project\/member has no tracked hours, it just won\u2019t be displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Due to the right alignment of the hours, it\u2019s easier to see projects\/members with the biggest amount of time tracked.<\/li>\n<li>Project and team member names are now sorted <strong>alphabetically<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<td><a class=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/everhour-filters-new.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1898\" title=\"progress update (may) \u2013 former version\" src=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/everhour-filters-new.png\" alt=\"progress update (may) \u2013 former version\" width=\"540\" height=\"1170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/everhour-filters-new.png 540w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/everhour-filters-new-138x300.png 138w, https:\/\/everhour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/everhour-filters-new-472x1024.png 472w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>With all the improvements, it\u2019ll be super quick for you to filter data to fit your needs.<\/p>\n<h2>\fUpdated datepicker<\/h2>\n<p>As you may remember, the previous datepicker version included a dropdown with predefined time intervals and a custom date range opportunity.
